Are you able to swim one length of the pool on your front (freestyle) and one length of the pool on your back (backstroke)? Boys and girls ages 5 to 18 are invited to join the Salida Cyclones Summer Swim Team. This 2017 State Champion swim team features excellent coaching and a lot of fun! Fall Youth Soccer is here! BV Rec is working with the Buena Vista Youth Soccer Association to bring you the Youth Soccer League! Players will be placed on parent-volunteer coached teams in U6, U8, U10, and U12 age groups. Practices will be led by trained Practice Facilitators. Registration Deadline: Friday, August 16. This website is intended to be a one-stop source for all things recreational in Buena Vista. In addition to programs hosted by the Town of Buena Vista Recreation Department, other organizations are welcome to submit programs that fall within the mission statement of the Recreation Advisory Board.
We’d love to hear your ideas for new programs that inspire a variety of interests, including sports, music, and fine arts. Please submit your ideas for events and activities that promote community development through positive social interaction and facilitate stewardship of our outdoor recreation resources.
Refunds for recreation programs will be given if a participant withdraws before the registration deadline for the program. Refunds may be given if a participant withdraws after the registration deadline due to a medical or family emergency. Refunds will not be granted for program cancellations due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond the control of the Recreation Department.
