Buena Vista Youth Tackle Football – Grades 3-6 – Fall 22

Join Buena Vista Youth Tackle Football for the Southern Colorado 11v11 Youth Tackle Football League this Fall! The program will feature a 3-4 Grade age group and a 5-6 Grade age group. BV Rec will be assisting the program by running registration and helping communicate to the participants.
The registration fee is $120 per participant. Practices will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from 5:30-7:00pm at the BVHS Practice Football Field. The first practice will be held on Monday, August 22. Games will be on Saturdays and begin on Saturday, September 10, and the season will conclude on Saturday, October 15.

Registration Deadline: Thursday, September 1
3-4 Grade Division
A) Any player 95lbs and under may advance the ball.
B) Any player 96lbs and over may NOT advance the ball. These players should have a yellow stripe on helmets at least 8” long. Visible to referee and other coaches.
C) A quarterback exceeding 95lbs will not be allowed to go outside the tackles, or cross the line of scrimmage.
All players will be weighed in at their first practice on Monday, August 22.
5-6 Grade Division
A) Any player 120lbs and under may advance the ball.
B) Any player 121lbs and over may NOT advance the ball. These players should have a yellow stripe on helmets at least 8” long. Visible to referee and other coaches.
C) A quarterback exceeding 120lbs will not be allowed to go outside the tackles, or cross the line of scrimmage.
