Wild Roots Nature Classes – Fall 2023
Looking to explore nature and develop a love of the outdoors and learning? In this 6-week series, we explore and learn through nature, play, songs, and movement. Each week the play invitation will tie into our greater theme of wellness–physical, mental, and emotional. A caregiver/child class designed for ages 2-8.
BV Rec is excited to partner with Amy Guldan, founder of Wild Roots Nature Classes, to offer this opportunity for families in the beautiful outdoors of Buena Vista. Amy Guldan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and has 12 years of experience teaching in various forms. Date/Time: Tuesdays, 10:00-11:00am – September 19-October 24 (NEW Start and End Dates! We postponed the start of the class by one week to allow for more participants to enroll without missing a session.)
Age: 2-8 (plus a caregiver)
Cost: $120/participant for all 6 sessions (includes season badge)
Meeting Location: Buena Vista River Park
Minimum # of Participants: 7; Maximum # of Participants: 14
Registration Deadline: Monday, September 18 (Registrations will continue to be accepted after the first session.)
Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the class. Parents are welcome to bring along siblings of enrolled participants under the age of 2.
