Spring Youth Soccer is here! Players will be placed on parent-volunteer coached teams in 2017-18’s, 2015-16’s, 2013-14’s, and 2011-12’s age groups (determined by their birth year). Practices will be led by trained Practice Facilitators. Game schedule and locations will be released after the season begins.
All age groups will begin practice the week of Monday, March 20. There will be NO PRACTICE for any age group during the week of March 27-31 due to Spring Break. All age groups will resume with practices the week of Monday, April 3. All age groups will play their first games on Saturday, April 8.
2013-14’s & 2011-12’s players will wear the same style of jersey every season. If a player does not have a jersey or needs a new one, they can be purchased during registration for $20. 2017-18’s & 2015-16’s players & coaches within all age groups will receive a team t-shirt, which is included in the registration fee. Shin guards covered by a sock are required at all practices and games. Athletic shoes and soccer cleats (no front toe cleat) are recommended.
Volunteer Parent Coaches for each team are needed! A Coaches Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 16 at 6:30pm in the Community Center. Please contact Tucker at 719-581-1051 or programs@buenavistaco.gov, if interested. Volunteer parent coaches are eligible to receive a 50% participation registration fee refund at the end of the season. Please contact Tucker towards the end of the season if you wish to receive this refund. Please reach out to Tucker if you are interested in being a paid Practice Facilitator, or if you or your child aged 12 or older are interested in being a Youth Soccer Referee.
