DESCRIPTION:Adult Open Gym Pickleball – Ages: 16+      $5/visit      January 5 – April 27                          Mondays\, 9:00am-11:00am      Darren Patterson Christian Academy (518 S San Juan Ave) \nThis game mixes badminton\, tennis\, and ping pong skills creating a fun\, active\, low-impact sport for individuals of all ages and athletic backgrounds! No experience required. \nBV Rec provides supervisors to unlock the school\, get everything set up in the gym\, collect money\, make sure everyone signs in for that day and has a completed annual waiver on file\, facilitate game play\, clean up everything after play is finished and lock the building.  \nMonday mornings will be for any players ages 16 and older. Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons will be for any players ages 10 and older. Anyone under the age of 16 must be signed in by a parent. There must also be an adult present\, who is responsible for the participant\, for the entirety of the participant’s time at the gym. This adult does not have to be their parent. Parents or the adult assigned to supervise the child under 16 must always be responsible for that child. We do not want anyone just running around the gym and the school. The time is used to play pickleball\, not to just hang out. DESCRIPTION:Demon Diggers Youth Volleyball\nCoed     Grades: 3-8     $60     Monday & Wednesday\, February 23 – February 25.  Mondays & Thursdays\, March 2-March 12 \nGrades 3-4: 6:00-7:00pm (White Gym)\, Grades 5-6: 6:00-7:00pm (Red Gym)\, Grades 7-8: 7:15-8:30pm (Red Gym) \nBuena Vista High School \nBVHS Volleyball and BV Recreation are partnering together again to put on the Demon Diggers Youth Volleyball program! This coed youth volleyball program will consist of camp-style practices led by BVHS Volleyball coaches and players. The focus will be to teach fundamental volleyball skills in a fun environment. Participants will practice and play with players of similar age and ability but will not have a set team. This is a FUNdamentals camp focusing on skills\, drills\, and technique. The drills include modified games that will maximize each participants’ contacts and help them progress with their skills. Each night\, coaches will finish with a fun\, game-like drill that will transfer over to the game of volleyball.
