DESCRIPTION:Achieve Social Outing: Horseback Riding at Mt. Princeton Riding Stables \nCoed \nAges: 14 and Older \n$5/Participant \nSaturday\, September 27\, 2025 \nRegistration Deadline: Monday\, September 22 \nBuena Vista Recreation is excited to partner with Achieve\, Inc to offer stand-alone Achieve Social programs designed to support and include neurodivergent individuals\, including those on the autism spectrum\, with ADD/ADHD\, and related disabilities. The inclusive outings provide opportunities to build communication\, teamwork\, and confidence\, while supporting social and cognitive growth for individuals in Chaffee County and the surrounding area. \nEvents are designed for individuals ages 14 and up. Each activity is supported by trained staff and volunteers\, with a minimum ratio of one support person for every three participants. If a participant requires more individualized support\, they are welcome to attend withe a personal caregiver\, mentor\, or support person. All attendees – including neurodivergent individuals\, friends\, family members\, and volunteers – must register separately to ensure adequate planning and accommodation. \nSign up by Monday\, September 22\, 2025. Space is limited to 14 participants. \nUpcoming Event: Horseback Riding! \nPlease join us for a fun day of Horseback Riding with friends! This event consists of a 2-hour mountain ride on nearby trails with great views! Please arrive to Mt. Princeton Riding Stables\, located at 14582 County Road 162\, Nathrop\, CO\, on Saturday\, September 27\, 2025 at 1:00pm. The event will wrap up at 3:00pm. \nAll participants must sign the Mt. Princeton Riding Stables waiver prior to participating in this event! For anyone age 18 and older\, you may complete the waiver yourself. DESCRIPTION:The Most Eggcellent 10K\, 5K\, and Easter Egg Hunt occurs on Easter weekend on the Saturday immediately before Easter.  The foot races travel throughout the west side of Buena Vista\, offering beautiful views of Mount Princeton on both courses.  The Easter Egg Hunt is for kids ages 0 – 5th grade\, and it’s a flurry of activity to see how many eggs can be collected!
