DESCRIPTION:Achieve Social: Rafting Trip \nCoed \nAges: 14+ \n$5/Participant \nWednesdays\, July 16 & July 23\, 2025 \nRegistration Deadline: Thursday\, July 10 for July 16th Trip & Thursday\, July 17 for July 23rd Trip \nBuena Vista Recreation partners with Achieve\, Inc. to provide programming for neurodiverse individuals (such as those on the autism spectrum or with ADD/ADHD). This program is designed for teens and young adults\, ages 14+\, in Chaffee County and nearby areas. \nProgram Goals: \n\nImprove communication and teamwork skills\nBuild confidence\nDevelop social and cognitive skills\n\nDetails: \n\nActivities and outings will have a ratio of 1 support staff for every 3 participants.\nIf more one-on-one help is needed\, participants must bring their own volunteer or mentor.\nSeparate registration is required for each participant to ensure space availability.\n\nTransportation & Financial Assistance: \n\nFor help with transportation to/from River Runners\, contact Jill Lowry at jill@achievelifeskills.org or 303-815-4436.\nScholarships are available!
