SUMMARY:Youth Basketball League - Coed Kindergarten - 2026
DESCRIPTION:Coed Kindergarten Youth Basketball – Fall 2026 \nBV Rec & BVHS Boys Basketball are partnering once again to bring you the Youth Basketball League! The League is open for players in K-6th Grades. The Kindergarten age group will be coed and run camp-style (practices and scrimmages during the week with no games on the weekend. Practices will be led by trained BV Rec Practice Facilitators for the Kindergarten and 1-2 Grade age groups. All age groups will begin practice the week of Monday\, October 19.\n \nSeason Dates: October 19 – December 7 (No practices or games the week of November 23 – November 29 due to Thanksgiving.)\n \nAge: Coed Players in Kindergarten\n \n\nCost: Early Registration Discount (Register Before October 3rd) – $40\nRegister After October 2nd – $50\n\n \nPractice Times: Mondays @ 4:00-4:45pm\n \nPractice Location: Darren Patterson Christian Academy (518 S San Juan)\n \n*The Kindergarten age group will be coed and will be run camp-style. Practices will consist of drills for the first 15-20 minutes and then players will be split into teams and will scrimmage for the remainder of practice time. No games will take place on the weekends for this age group.*\n \nEARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday October 2nd\, 2026 \nREGISTRATION DEADLINE: Monday\, October 12\, 2026\n \nUniforms: Players and coaches will receive a program t-shirt\, which is included in the registration fee. When scrimmaging\, players will be provided with a scrimmage vest to wear over their shirt. Players need to wear non-marking athletic shoes while on the court.\n \nVolunteer Parent Coaches for each team are needed! DESCRIPTION:1-2 Grade Youth Basketball – Fall 2026 \nBV Rec & BVHS Boys Basketball are partnering once again to bring you the Youth Basketball League! The League is open for players in K-6th Grades. Girls & Boys will be split into volunteer-coached teams in the 1-2\, 3-4\, and 5-6 grade divisions. The Kindergarten age group will be coed and run camp-style (practices and scrimmages during the week with no games on the weekends). Practices will be led by trained BV Rec Practice Facilitators for the Kindergarten and 1-2 grade age groups. While the 3-4 and 5-6 grade age groups’ practices will be led by the BVHS Boys Basketball coaches and players.\n \nGame schedule and locations will be released after the season begins. All age groups will begin practice the week of Monday\, October 19. All age groups will play their first games on Saturday\, October 31 and final games on Saturday\, December 12. Games will typically be played 4v4 on a full 2-hoop side court. Players and coaches will receive a team t-shirt\, which is included in the registration fee.
