All proceeds will go toward Gary’s time and wear and tear on his game collection. Please support Gary and his passion to provide gaming opportunities for his community! \nBV Rec is excited to be offering Game Night! This program was formerly held at the Buena Vista Public Library and will now be teaming up with Buena Vista Recreation to bring you a day of board games for the whole family. \nGame night will be available to all age ranges. There will be a large variety of games to play\, spanning from games that can accommodate two people or a larger group. Game night will be hosted in collaboration with Gary Johnson who has an extensive library of games that he will have available\, as well as his knowledge on the rules and game play information. \nCome enjoy an exciting day of fun! Game night is for everyone\, with games that will entertain kids\, teens\, adults and seniors alike! \nPlease feel free to bring your own snack and beverage to the event (Non-alcoholic beverages only\, no alcohol allowed on site.) \nDrop in anytime between 12:00-9:00pm \nWINTER 2026 EVENTS \nJANUARY 10 – “Party Time” \n– A perfect way to kick off the new year is with friends and some great “Party” games. \nFEBRUARY 21 – “ONE ON ONE TIME” \n– In the spirit of Valentines Day\, this month will feature great games for two players and a special “Newlywed” Style event for couples and families to add to the fun. \nMARCH 14 – “MARCH MADNESS” \n– Gaming Tournaments and Games with a Sports theme featured. \nAPRIL 11 – “APRILS FOOLING” \n-A mix of games that are just plain silly-fun and fantastic games of investigation\, deduction\, deception and puzzles that seek to fool you.   \nClick here to register for Game Night!

DESCRIPTION:Achieve Social: Snow Tubing at Monarch Mountain \nCoed \nAges: 14 and Older \n$5/Participant \nSaturday\, February 21\, 2026 \nRegistration Deadline: Sunday\, February 15th \nJoin us for a fun afternoon of snow tubing sponsored by Monarch Mountain! (23715 US-50\, Salida\, CO 81201) \nTransportation will be provided for participants from Leadville\, Salida and Buena Vista. \nBuena Vista Recreation is excited to partner with Achieve\, Inc to offer stand-alone Achieve Social programs designed to support and include neurodivergent individuals\, including those on the autism spectrum\, with ADD/ADHD\, and related disabilities. The inclusive outings provide opportunities to build communication\, teamwork\, and confidence\, while supporting social and cognitive growth for individuals in Chaffee County and the surrounding area. \nEvents are designed for individuals ages 14 and up. Each activity is supported by trained staff and volunteers\, with a minimum ratio of one support person for every three participants. If a participant requires more individualized support\, they are welcome to attend withe a personal caregiver\, mentor\, or support person. All attendees – including neurodivergent individuals\, friends\, family members\, and volunteers – must register separately to ensure adequate planning and accommodation. \nSign up by Sunday\, February 15th! DESCRIPTION:Learn to Play Pickleball Clinic\nSaturday\, February 21 – 1:00-4:00pm\nAges: 16+ | $10 per participant\nDarren Patterson Christian Academy\n\n \nHave you heard of Pickleball? Pickleball mixes badminton\, tennis\, and ping pong skills creating a fun\, active\, low-impact activity for individuals of all ages and athletic backgrounds! Come try your hand at a fun\, rapidly growing sport at the Learn-to-Play Pickleball Day! Certified Pickleball Coach Cami Jamerson will provide instruction that will teach the rules\, technique\, and strategy of the game. Equipment will be provided.\n \n\nThis will be the second Learn to Play session of 2026 after a very successful first session earlier in January. This second session will take place on Saturday\, February 21st at Darren Patterson Christian Academy (518 S San Juan Ave). If there is enough interest in this clinic\, we will schedule another one for March.\n \nMinimum of 6 participants needed per session.
