The inclusive outings provide opportunities to build communication\, teamwork\, and confidence\, while supporting social and cognitive growth for individuals in Chaffee County and the surrounding area. \nEvents are designed for individuals ages 14 and up. Each activity is supported by trained staff and volunteers\, with a minimum ratio of one support person for every three participants. If a participant requires more individualized support\, they are welcome to attend withe a personal caregiver\, mentor\, or support person. The League is open for players in K-6th Grades. The Kindergarten age group will be coed and run camp-style (practices and scrimmages during the week with no games on the weekends). Practices will be led by trained BV Rec Practice Facilitators for the Kindergarten and 1-2 Grade age groups. All age groups will begin practice the week of Monday\, October 13.\n \nSeason Dates: October 13 – December 6 (No practices or games the week of November 24 – November 30 due to Thanksgiving.)\n \nAge: Coed Players in Kindergarten\n \n\nCost: Early Registration Discount (Register Before September 15) – $45\nRegister After September 15 – $35\n\n \nPractice Times: Mondays @ 4:00-4:45pm\n \nPractice Location: Darren Patterson Christian Academy (518 S San Juan)\n \n*The Kindergarten age group will be coed and will be run camp-style. DESCRIPTION:1-2 Grade Youth Basketball – Fall 2025 \nBV Rec & BVHS Boys Basketball are partnering once again to bring you the Youth Basketball League! The League is open for players in K-6th Grades. Girls & Boys will be split into volunteer-coached teams in the 1-2\, 3-4\, and 5-6 grade divisions. The Kindergarten age group will be coed and run camp-style (practices and scrimmages during the week with no games on the weekends). Practices will be led by trained BV Rec Practice Facilitators for the Kindergarten and 1-2 grade age groups. While the 3-4 and 5-6 grade age groups’ practices will be led by the BVHS Boys Basketball coaches and players.\n \nGame schedule and locations will be released after the season begins. All age groups will begin practice the week of Monday\, October 13. All age groups will play their first games on Saturday\, October 25 and final games on Saturday\, December 6. Games will typically be played 4v4 on a full 2-hoop side court. Players and coaches will receive a team t-shirt\, which is included in the registration fee. DESCRIPTION:1-2 Grade Youth Basketball – Fall 2025 \nBV Rec & BVHS Boys Basketball are partnering once again to bring you the Youth Basketball League! The League is open for players in K-6th Grades. Girls & Boys will be split into volunteer-coached teams in the 1-2\, 3-4\, and 5-6 grade divisions. The Kindergarten age group will be coed and run camp-style (practices and scrimmages during the week with no games on the weekends). Practices will be led by trained BV Rec Practice Facilitators for the Kindergarten and 1-2 grade age groups. While the 3-4 and 5-6 grade age groups’ practices will be led by the BVHS Boys Basketball coaches and players.\n \nGame schedule and locations will be released after the season begins. All age groups will begin practice the week of Monday\, October 13. All age groups will play their first games on Saturday\, October 25 and final games on Saturday\, December 6. Games will typically be played 4v4 on a full 2-hoop side court. Players and coaches will receive a team t-shirt\, which is included in the registration fee. Girls & Boys will be split into volunteer-coached teams in the 1-2\, 3-4\, and 5-6 grade divisions. The Kindergarten age group will be coed and run camp-style (practices and scrimmages during the week with no games on the weekends). Practices will be led by trained BV Rec Practice Facilitators for the Kindergarten and 1-2 grade age groups. While the 3-4 and 5-6 grade age groups’ practices will be led by the BVHS Boys Basketball coaches and players.\n \nGame schedule and locations will be released after the season begins. All age groups will begin practice the week of Monday\, October 13. All age groups will play their first games on Saturday\, October 25 and final games on Saturday\, December 6. Games will typically be played 4v4 on a full 2-hoop side court. Players and coaches will receive a team t-shirt\, which is included in the registration fee.
