DESCRIPTION:8U Coach Pitch\nAges: 7-8\, as of 4/30/26\nCost: Early Registration Discount! (Register Before April 27th) – $60\n\n          Registration After April 27th – $70\n\nGames on Tuesdays & Thursdays\, 4:00-8:00pm\nJune 1 – July 16\nYouth Baseball Field – BV River Park\n \nGrab your bat and your glove and get ready for the Youth Baseball League!\n8U Coach Pitch is for ages 7-8\, as of 4/30/26. Players will be placed on parent-volunteer coached teams. Practices for the Youth Baseball League will begin the week of June 1. Coach Pitch will have one 1-hour practice per week as scheduled by the volunteer team coach\, and one practice per week led by the BV Rec Baseball Practice Facilitator on Wednesdays from 9:00-10:30am. Coach Pitch games will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-8:00pm from June 9-July 16 in Buena Vista\, Salida and Lake County\, as scheduled. Game schedule will be released around the start of the season. NO PRACTICE OR GAMES WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY\, JULY 3.\n \nRegistration for the Youth Baseball League includes a team t-shirt. Participants may purchase a BV Baseball hat for an additional $20. Hats are not required for games or practices. All players should have their own glove. Cleats or running shoes are recommended. Metal cleats are not allowed. White Baseball Pants can be purchased through BV Rec during registration for $20\, but are not required.\n \n\nRegistration for 8U Coach Pitch\, 10U Modified Live Pitch\, and 12U Live Pitch will include a preseason Skills Clinic and Assessment led by the Buena Vista High School Baseball Team. The Skills Clinic and Assessment will be held Wednesday\, May 13 from 5:45-7:00pm at the Buena Vista High School Baseball Field.\n\n \n\nREGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday\, May 8\, 2026\n*Early Registration Discount – Register by Monday\, April 27th!*\n\n\n \nVolunteer Parent Coaches for each team are needed! A coaches meeting will be held on Wednesday\, May 20th at 6:00pm at the BV Community Center. Volunteer parent coaches are eligible to receive a 50% participant registration fee refund at the end of the season. Please contact Tucker towards the end of the season if you wish to receive this refund. DESCRIPTION:Adult Coed Softball League – Ages 16+ \nTeam Registration Fee: $400/team\, Player Registration Fee: $40/player \nTuesdays-Wednesdays\, 6:00-10:00pm   June 9 – August 12 \nBV Rec is excited to announce another season of Adult Slow Pitch Coed Softball! The league will consist of a round-robin season\, followed by a postseason tournament. Games will be officiated by paid umpires. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 9 games\, including tournament. Teams should consist of 5 males and 5 females in the batting lineup in the Coed League. \nThere is a 12 team maximum\, so please register early! \nWE NEED MORE SOFTBALL UMPIRES! PAY IS $33-45 PER HOUR! Please contact Zack at 719-581-7155 if you are interested.
