DESCRIPTION:Achieve Social: Karaoke & Games  \nCoed \nAges: 14+ \n$5/Participant \nSaturday\, February 1\, 2025 \nRegistration Deadline: Monday\, January 27th\, 2025 \nBuena Vista Recreation partners with Achieve\, Inc. to provide programming for neurodiverse individuals (such as those on the autism spectrum or with ADD/ADHD). This program is designed for teens and young adults\, ages 14+\, in Chaffee County and nearby areas. \nProgram Goals: \n\nImprove communication and teamwork skills\nBuild confidence\nDevelop social and cognitive skills\n\nDetails: \n\nActivities and outings will have a ratio of 1 support staff for every 3 participants.\nIf more one-on-one help is needed\, participants must bring their own volunteer or mentor.\nSeparate registration is required for each participant to ensure space availability.\n\nTransportation & Financial Assistance: \n\nFor help with transportation to/from the Buena Vista Recreation Center\, contact Danielle Brown at danielle@achievelifeskills.org or (970) 209-2976.\nScholarships are available!
