There will be a large variety of games to play\, spanning from games that can accommodate two people or a larger group. Game night will be hosted in collaboration with Gary Johnson who has an extensive library of games that he will have available\, as well as his knowledge on the rules and game play information. \nCome enjoy an exciting day of fun! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.\nCost: FREE!\nWhen: Sunday\, April 26th from 1:00-3:00pm\nMeeting location: West Side Dirt Parking Lot of the Buena Vista Community Center – 715 E Main St. Buena Vista Colorado\, 81211 \nBuena Vista Recreation is excited to announce the sixth annual Keeping Bewnie Buena! – BV Neighborhood Clean-Up Day is scheduled for Sunday\, April 26 from 1:00-3:00pm. Join your friends and family for a fun filled afternoon centered around cleaning up surface trash in and around the town of Buena Vista’s streets\, parks\, and open spaces. \n\n \nCommunity members can meet at the BV Community Center. All participants will check in at 1:00pm (pre-registered folks will receive a t-shirt at check in). We will divide into small working groups\, and you will be given a designated area to focus on. We will have options for locations to walk to or drive to. The Town of Buena Vista will provide a large trash receptacle at the parking lot of the Community Center for everyone to dispose of their clean-up bounty.\n \nAfter Party:  Join other volunteers for a celebration at the Eddyline Brewery and Pub\, featuring pizza (while supplies last) and discounted beverages.  3:00-4:00pm at 102 Linderman Ave.\n \nHow to prepare:\nBring your own gloves for clean up day\nFacilitators will have bags for folks to use at the meet-up location\nFeel free to bring your own TRDs (trash removal devices) and use your own waste bags if that is preferable\n \nWhy are we doing this?\nA large group of locals have done a very similar activity each spring for the last 20 years but have only focused on the River Park area. We feel this spring would be another great time to get outside and do something rewarding that everyone will appreciate immensely. And why not help keep Bewnie Buena?\n \nPlease register each individual that plans to participate.\n\n \nThe registration deadline to secure a free t-shirt is Thursday\, April 9th. Participants are encouraged register after the deadline\, but t-shirts are not guaranteed.\n\n \nClick here to register online!

This program was formerly held at the Buena Vista Public Library and will now be teaming up with Buena Vista Recreation to bring you a day of board games for the whole family. \nGame night will be available to all age ranges. There will be a large variety of games to play\, spanning from games that can accommodate two people or a larger group. Game night will be hosted in collaboration with Gary Johnson who has an extensive library of games that he will have available\, as well as his knowledge on the rules and game play information. \nCome enjoy an exciting day of fun! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. \nWednesday\, December 10th \n30 minute time slots begin at 3:30pm and end at 7:00pm \nCost: $10 per Table – Maximum 6 participants per table \nEach time slot only has 4 tables available. \nREGISTRATION FOR ALL TIME SLOTS WILL OPEN AT NOON ON FRIDAY\, NOVEMBER 14TH! \nOnce again partnering with Young Life’s Trail West Lodge\, BV Rec is excited to offer a holiday cookie decorating event! Gather your friends or bring the whole family to the Buena Vista Community Center (located at 715 E Main Street in Buena Vista) to enjoy hot beverages and holiday cookie decorating to kick off the holiday season!  \nReservations are made by table. Each table can accommodate a maximum of six participants. Each time slot is 30 minutes long\, and we only have 4 tables available in each time slot\, so reserve yours today! Multiple tables can be reserved\, if availability allows. When reserving multiple tables in the same time slot\, you will only be able to reserve one table per account. The second reservation can be done under a different family member or friend’s account.   \nEach participant will be given multiple cookies to decorate and enjoy! Frosting\, sprinkles\, and all of the necessary utensils will be provided. Local chefs Frank Willis\, Tom Campbell\, and Ben Miner will have plenty of cookies baked\, cooled\, and ready for you to decorate!
