Please support Gary and his passion to provide gaming opportunities for his community! \nBV Rec is excited to be offering Game Night! This program was formerly held at the Buena Vista Public Library and will now be teaming up with Buena Vista Recreation to bring you a day of board games for the whole family. \nGame night will be available to all age ranges. There will be a large variety of games to play\, spanning from games that can accommodate two people or a larger group. Game night will be hosted in collaboration with Gary Johnson who has an extensive library of games that he will have available\, as well as his knowledge on the rules and game play information. \nCome enjoy an exciting day of fun! Game night is for everyone\, with games that will entertain kids\, teens\, adults and seniors alike! \nPlease feel free to bring your own snack and beverage to the event (Non-alcoholic beverages only\, no alcohol allowed on site.) \nDrop in anytime between 12:00-9:00pm \nWINTER 2026 EVENTS \nJANUARY 10 – “Party Time” \n– A perfect way to kick off the new year is with friends and some great “Party” games. \nFEBRUARY 21 – “ONE ON ONE TIME” \n– In the spirit of Valentines Day\, this month will feature great games for two players and a special “Newlywed” Style event for couples and families to add to the fun. \nMARCH 14 – “MARCH MADNESS” \n– Gaming Tournaments and Games with a Sports theme featured. \nAPRIL 11 – “APRILS FOOLING” \n-A mix of games that are just plain silly-fun and fantastic games of investigation\, deduction\, deception and puzzles that seek to fool you.   \nClick here to register for Game Night!

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. \nWednesday\, December 10th \n30 minute time slots begin at 3:30pm and end at 7:00pm \nCost: $10 per Table – Maximum 6 participants per table \nEach time slot only has 4 tables available. \nREGISTRATION FOR ALL TIME SLOTS WILL OPEN AT NOON ON FRIDAY\, NOVEMBER 14TH! \nOnce again partnering with Young Life’s Trail West Lodge\, BV Rec is excited to offer a holiday cookie decorating event! Gather your friends or bring the whole family to the Buena Vista Community Center (located at 715 E Main Street in Buena Vista) to enjoy hot beverages and holiday cookie decorating to kick off the holiday season!  \nReservations are made by table. Each table can accommodate a maximum of six participants. Each time slot is 30 minutes long\, and we only have 4 tables available in each time slot\, so reserve yours today! Multiple tables can be reserved\, if availability allows. When reserving multiple tables in the same time slot\, you will only be able to reserve one table per account. The second reservation can be done under a different family member or friend’s account.   \nEach participant will be given multiple cookies to decorate and enjoy! Frosting\, sprinkles\, and all of the necessary utensils will be provided. Local chefs Frank Willis\, Tom Campbell\, and Ben Miner will have plenty of cookies baked\, cooled\, and ready for you to decorate!
