DESCRIPTION:2020-2021’s COED YOUTH SOCCER – Fall 2025\n\n \n\nFall Youth Soccer is here! Players will be placed on parent-volunteer coached teams. Practices will be led by trained Practice Facilitators. Game schedule and locations will be released after the season begins. All age groups will begin practice the week of Monday\, August 25. All age groups will play their first games on Saturday\, September 6 and final games on Saturday\, October 11.\n \nSeason Dates: August 25-October 11\n \nAge: Players born in 2020-2021\n \nCost: Early Registration Discount! (Register Before July 28th) – $40\n Registration After July 28th – $50\n\n \nPractice Times:\n4:00pm Session – Wednesdays @ 4:00-4:45pm\n5:00pm Session – Wednesdays @ 5:00-5:45pm\n\n \nPractice Location: High School Baseball Field\n \nGame Day: Saturdays\n \nREGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday\, August 8\, 2025\n \nUniforms: Players and coaches will receive a team t-shirt which is included in the registration fee. Shin guards covered by a sock are required at all practices and games. Athletic shoes or soccer cleats (no front toe cleat) are recommended.\n \nVolunteer Coaches: We need you! Volunteer parent coaches are eligible to receive a 50% participant registration fee refund at the end of the season. Please contact Hannah towards the end of the season if you wish to receive this refund. A Coaches Meeting will be held on Monday\, August 18 at 6:00pm in the Community Center. DESCRIPTION:Rockies Skills Challenge 2025 \nDate: Saturday\, June 14 from 10:00am-12:00pm (Registration at 9:30am) \nAges: 6-13 (as of August 9\, 2025: proposed date of the Rockies Skills Challenge State Competition) \nCost: FREE! \nLocation: Buena Vista High School Baseball Field \nThe Rockies Baseball Skills Challenge provides the youth of Colorado with a statewide baseball competition testing their skills in running\, hitting and throwing. See how fast you can run the bases\, how far you can hit\, and how far you can throw. There are four age divisions: 6/7\, 8/9\, 10/11 and 12/13 for both boys and girls. The top scorer in each age group will advance to a Sectional Competition\, with a chance to compete at the State Championship. \nThe BV Local Competition will be held Saturday\, June 14 at the High School Baseball Field in the Buena Vista River Park. Registration will be from 9:30-10:00am\, and the Competition will begin at 10:00am. The Competition typically lasts 1.5-2.5 hours\, including awards\, depending on the number of participants. \nNo metal spike shoes will be permitted. Only sneakers or plastic/rubber cleats. You are allowed to bring your own bat if you wish.
