Wild Roots Nature Classes – Winter 2024
Looking to explore nature in a fun, play-based class? In this 6-week series, we explore and learn through nature, play, songs, and movement. Each week we will learn about a new animal superhero that will tie into our greater theme of persistence. We will also end each class with tea time! A caregiver/child class designed for ages 2-8.
BV Rec is excited to once again partner with Amy Guldan, founder of Wild Roots Nature Classes, to offer this opportunity for families in the beautiful outdoors of Buena Vista. Amy Guldan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and has 12 years of experience teaching in various forms. Date/Time: Mondays, 10:00-11:00am – January 8-February 19 (NO CLASS ON FEBRUARY 5TH)
We have updated the dates from when we initially opened registration for the class. No class will take place on February 5th, and the end date has been extended to February 19th.
Age: 2-8 (plus a caregiver)
Cost: $120/participant for all 6 sessions (includes season badge)
Meeting Location: McPhelemy Park in Buena Vista
Minimum # of Participants: 7; Maximum # of Participants: 14
Registration Deadline: Thursday, January 4th (Registrations will continue to be accepted after the first session, if space allows.)
*Registrations completed before December 15th will receive a complimentary Wild Roots mini tea mug. This is a thank you for registering early, and ties into tea time, which will take place each week during class.*
Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the class. Parents are welcome to bring along siblings of enrolled participants under the age of 2.
