Grab your glove and get ready for another season of Slow Pitch Softball! The league will consist of a round-robin season, followed by a post-season tournament. Games will be officiated by paid umpires. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 10 games, including tournament. The Girls Softball League is back for Summer 2019! The Girls Softball Program is available for girls ages 7-18, as of December 31, 2018. Players will be played on volunteer-coached teams in the 10U, 14U, and 18U Age Divisions. 10U will use Machine Pitch, and 14U & 18U will use Fast Pitch. This website is intended to be a one-stop source for all things recreational in Buena Vista. In addition to programs hosted by the Town of Buena Vista Recreation Department, other organizations are welcome to submit programs that fall within the mission statement of the Recreation Advisory Board.
We’d love to hear your ideas for new programs that inspire a variety of interests, including sports, music, and fine arts. Please submit your ideas for events and activities that promote community development through positive social interaction and facilitate stewardship of our outdoor recreation resources.
Refunds for recreation programs will be given if a participant withdraws before the registration deadline for the program. Refunds may be given if a participant withdraws after the registration deadline due to a medical or family emergency. Refunds will not be granted for program cancellations due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond the control of the Recreation Department.
