Young at Heart Field Trips 2024

Please join BV Rec and Young at Heart for one or all of the fun, social field trips taking place in 2024! Young at Heart is a social group for those aged 55+. These field trips are a great opportunity to get out with friends and be social.

For each field trip, we will visit a location within the Arkansas River Valley and then eat lunch together as a group. BV Rec will provide transportation for the field trip. We will always meet at the BV Community Center (715 E Main St) and then return to the BV Community Center after. The locations and lunch spots are determined by the Young at Heart board.

Friday, June 28th – South Park City Museum in Fairplay

$15 (includes transportation to and from Fairplay and entrance into the South Park City Museum)

The second Young at Heart Field Trip of 2024 will take us to the South Park City Museum in Fairplay! The trip is scheduled for Friday, June 28th. BV Rec will provide transportation to and from Fairplay. Please meet at the Buena Vista Community Center (715 E Main St) at 9:00am. We will return to the Community Center around 3:00pm. We will spend time walking around the South Park City Museum and then will eat lunch somewhere in Fairplay.

The cost of $ covers your transportation to and from Fairplay and your entrance into the South Park City Museum. Lunch is NOT covered and everyone will need to pay for their own meal. Please give $ (cash or check) to any Young at Heart board member or BV Rec staff member to reserve your spot! Space is limited to 14 participants, so please reserve your spot soon! All participants will need to complete a BV Rec waiver prior to getting on the bus.
