Youth Basketball League – Coed Kindergarten – 2026
Coed Kindergarten Youth Basketball – Fall 2026
BV Rec & BVHS Boys Basketball are partnering once again to bring you the Youth Basketball League! The League is open for players in K-6th Grades. The Kindergarten age group will be coed and run camp-style (practices and scrimmages during the week with no games on the weekend. Practices will be led by trained BV Rec Practice Facilitators for the Kindergarten and 1-2 Grade age groups. All age groups will begin practice the week of Monday, October 19.
Season Dates: October 19 – December 7 (No practices or games the week of November 23 – November 29 due to Thanksgiving.)
Age: Coed Players in Kindergarten
Cost: Early Registration Discount (Register Before October 3rd) – $40
Register After October 2nd – $50
Practice Times: Mondays @ 4:00-4:45pm
Practice Location: Darren Patterson Christian Academy (518 S San Juan)
*The Kindergarten age group will be coed and will be run camp-style. Practices will consist of drills for the first 15-20 minutes and then players will be split into teams and will scrimmage for the remainder of practice time. No games will take place on the weekends for this age group.*

Uniforms: Players and coaches will receive a program t-shirt, which is included in the registration fee. When scrimmaging, players will be provided with a scrimmage vest to wear over their shirt. Players need to wear non-marking athletic shoes while on the court.
Volunteer Parent Coaches for each team are needed! A Coaches Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 6:00pm in the Community Center. Please contact Corree at 719-581-1052 or crivas@buenavistaco.gov, if interested. Volunteer parent coaches are eligible to receive a 50% participant registration fee refund at the end of the season. Please contact Corree towards the end of the season if you wish to receive this refund. Please reach out to Corree if you or your child aged 13 or older are interested in being a paid Youth Basketball Referee.
