Young at Heart Field Trips 2025

Please join BV Rec and Young at Heart for one or all of the fun, social field trips taking place in 2025! Young at Heart is a social group for those aged 55+. These field trips are a great opportunity to get out with friends and be social.

For each field trip, we will visit a location within the surrounding area and then eat lunch together as a group. BV Rec will provide transportation for the field trip. We will always meet at the BV Community Center (715 E Main St) and then return to the BV Community Center after. The locations and lunch spots are determined by the Young at Heart board.

Tuesday, October 14th – Fall Colors in Crestone

$10 (includes transportation to and from Crestone)

The third and final Young at Heart Field Trip of 2025 will take us to Crestone to view the Fall colors! The trip is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14th. BV Rec will provide transportation to and from Crestone. Please meet at the Buena Vista Community Center (715 E Main St) at 8:45am. We will return to the Community Center between 3:00-3:30pm. We will spend time viewing the Fall leaves, exploring Crestone and then will eat lunch after.

The cost of $10 covers your transportation to and from Crestone. Lunch is NOT covered and everyone will need to pay for their own meal. Please give $10 (cash or check) to any Young at Heart board member or BV Rec staff member to reserve your spot! Space is limited to 14 participants, so please reserve your spot soon! All participants will need to complete a BV Rec waiver prior to getting on the bus.
